A bit rushed today, so I thought I'd just point out this fascinating Wiki about King Henry VIII. It's made me really want to see Showtime's The Tudors, which I have not seen.
Fascinating stuff. At the very bottom, it says that we know from his armour he was between 6'2" and 6'3" tall, which was a giant for his time. When he was young and in shape, he weight 180 to 200 lbs, fighting weight. Man oh man, he must've been something to behold.
Like I said, history is just fascinating.

As a kid I found the underground railroad pretty fascinating, as well as information on World War II.
Now my interests shift all the time. I pretty consistently love the roaring twenties, (well, why not?). Also, the French Revolution holds a certain fascination for me.
But, like I said, always changing. :)
Isn't it great to be able to follow your fancy?! I'm way into the 1880s right now, but my fancy gets pulled all over the place.
