Time passes. I have these great ideas for these great blog posts. I have these great ideas for short stories, for novels, for personal essay, for memoir. That would be so cool! I long to jump on it, to take it by the reins and ride galloping off into the sunset ~ tired cliche ~ but then I have to take a shower or cook dinner or balance the checkbook. I'll be ninety before I know it, and all those ideas will have little ornate graves there in my head.
